A nine-seat Kiba institution since 2006, open just three days a week and long a fixture of Tabelog's Tokyo top-100. Its golden shoyu soup layers rich animal stock with a waft of seafood, paired with chewy house-made medium-thick noodles and thick domestic pork-shoulder chashu; the tsukemen is equally loved.

Buy your ticket at the outside machine before joining the line (groups buy together). 9 counter seats, cash only, no reservations. Ramen from ¥1,050, ajitama ramen ¥1,200, tsukemen ¥1,150.
