The Tokyo test kitchen of Niigata's Sanpoutei group, specialising in two bowls: hot-and-sour sanratan-men and the 'zen-toro' mapo noodles, a thick, gently spicy mapo tofu sauce with Sichuan pepper over medium-thin noodles. In the evening it adds Niigata sake and small plates.

（英文）About 5 minutes from the west exit of Naka-Meguro Station, heading west along the shopping street. The mapo sauce is very hot (temperature), and a small rice to finish it as mapo-don is the usual move. Pickled zha cai is on the counter. Open daily until late.
