    A seven-seat neighbourhood chuka ramen counter on Suido-michi, run by an elderly couple since 1971. The ramen is a light, scallion-scented chicken-stock shoyu at near one-coin prices, and most regulars add crisp gyoza or take the ramen-and-fried-rice set.

JR Oguchi Station is about 18 minutes on foot. Only 7 counter seats; weekends fill up with families. Cash only. Order the ramen + mini fried rice set and a plate of gyoza.

Hotpepper lists cards, e-money and QR all not accepted. Tabelog genre (snippet) is Chinese/tsukemen/gyoza; the shop is a machi-chuka style ramen place, kept as ramen. Kenkoji is the temple the bus stop is named after (西寺尾建功寺前); no Hotpepper photo found.
