    A one-tsubo (about 3 m²) chuka soba stand in Tsukiji Outer Market, open since 1955, serving ultra-thin curly noodles in a light shoyu soup with a gentle pork-bone base, lots of green onion and tender chashu. Market workers and chefs have queued here for decades, and you eat standing at simple tables on the pavement.

    （英文）Hours from the official site (6:30–13:00); Hotpepper (2020) says 07:00–13:30. Founding year 1955 (昭和30年) from Instagram creator reels; the market directory says it opened about 50 years ago. The manga reference (青葉亭 modelled on 若葉) is from the Tsukiji market directory, which does not name the work. Hotpepper prices (中華そば 700円) are from 2020; a 2024 reel says 1,000円.
