    Setagaya-ya's 'next brand', opened on Kannana-dori in 2006 and revived on the same site in a new building, serving a punchy niboshi broth of horse mackerel, sardine and round herring that avoids bitterness. The thick noodles are a private blend of 100% Hokkaido 'Haruyokoi' wheat, also used for its rich niboshi tsukemen.
