    A roadside 'old school' chuka soba shop in Iruma that opens at 9:00 for morning ramen, run by a husband-and-wife team. The draw is a mellow, bitter-edged niboshi (dried sardine) soup with springy, flat curly medium noodles, served plain, with back-fat (seabura) or as shio, plus abura soba.
