What's new this year
- Tokyo Ramen Festa 2026 (Oct 30 – Nov 3, 2026) is the last one at Komazawa Olympic Park. The organizers say a new venue is under consideration for future years.
- Dai Tsukemen Haku has become the RA-1 Grand Prix: 64 shops compete over 8 rounds for a ¥5 million prize, decided by visitors' votes.
- Already announced for 2027: Kitakyushu Ramen Festival (Mar 20 – Mar 21, 2027) and Sapporo Autumn Fest (Sep 10 – Oct 2, 2027). Takasaki Ramen Matsuri is set for February 2027.
How festival tickets work
- Entry is usually free and you pay per bowl: buy a meal ticket (食券) at the festival's ticket booth or machines, queue at a shop's stall and hand it over.
- Many festivals sell advance tickets at 7-Eleven (Seven Ticket) or online. Bundles of 3, 5 or 10 tickets can work out cheaper, and you skip the ticket queue.
- Some festivals sell a fast pass for a priority lane. Prices and rules differ, so check each festival's ticket page.
- Bring some cash: extra toppings are often paid in cash at the stall, even where the tickets themselves can be paid by card or IC card.

- Sapporo Autumn Fest is the best pairing: the Hokkaido Ramen Matsuri fills Odori Park's 5-chome block while a craft beer terrace runs at 11-chome, in the same park and the same weeks.
- Nekkyo Nakano Ramen Matsuri in Tokyo has an izakaya area for drinks.
