King Factory Group is opening "King-ken Minamimorimachi" in Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Osaka, on Wednesday 4 November 2026, its fourth King-ken shop in the city. King-ken specialises in Hiroshima-style shirunashi tantanmen, a soupless sesame-and-chilli noodle dish mixed at the table, and has run since the brand started in Hiroshima in 2011.

    The essentials

    • Opens: 4 November 2026
    • Address: Nippo Kita-Osaka Building 1F, 3-6-22 Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Osaka
    • Hours: 11:00-15:00 and 17:00-22:00
    • Closed: Saturdays and Sundays

The dish is meant to be mixed more than 30 times before eating, blending the chain's sauce, chilli oil and a house-blend Sichuan pepper into the noodles. Spice level is adjustable from "0 spice" up. The Nishitenma area mixes office buildings with homes and restaurants, which the company says suits both lunch and after-work trade.
