Best for
The first shop of Tomoharu Shono's Mensho group, open since September 2005 just below the Ichigaya moat. It turns out polished shoyu ramen and ajitama tsukemen, and has run morning-ramen menus including natto ramen.

About 3 minutes from Ichigaya Station: head down the slope by the moat; it's on a back street just off it. Around 15 counter seats; order at the ticket machine, which takes credit cards and e-money. Open until 23:00 on weekdays. Try the tokusei (deluxe) ramen or the ajitama tsukemen.
