Best for
Asakusa Ramen Yoroiya operates steps off the historic Nakamise-dori shopping street leading to Senso-ji temple. Since 1991, the shop has served quintessential traditional Tokyo shoyu ramen based on dried chicken bones, pork, and Japanese seafood dashi seasoned with yuzu citrus peel. Yoroiya is famous for its twin-yolk seasoned egg, sourced specially from hens producing rare double-yolk eggs. The handmade pan-fried gyoza with minced chicken and greens are a staple side dish.
