Verifichiamo ogni locale su fonti in giapponese: gli annunci del locale o del gestore, gli avvisi di strutture e centri commerciali, le notizie locali, le guide al ramen e le testimonianze dirette. Ogni chiusura qui ha uno di questi due gradi di prova:
- A: Prova solida: il locale, il gestore, una struttura o una notizia datata
- B: Prova affidabile: una scheda in una guida al ramen o una testimonianza diretta
Le segnalazioni che non abbiamo potuto confermare, quelle in cui le fonti non concordano o in cui non eravamo sicuri di quale locale si trattasse non sono segnate come chiuse. Quei locali vengono ricontrollati per primi.
Una chiusura riguarda un solo indirizzo. Quando chiude una filiale di una catena, il marchio e le altre filiali non sono coinvolti, e quando un nuovo locale apre negli stessi spazi si tratta di un locale diverso, quindi non colleghiamo i due. Indichiamo una data solo quando una fonte la riporta; altrimenti la data dice ciò che si sa, come «verso novembre 2017» o «sconosciuta».
