Ippudo celebrates its 41st anniversary with a Pan Dorobo collaboration from 1 to 23 November 2026, bringing the popular picture-book thief's ramen-burger set and character goods to Ippudo shops nationwide.
The collaboration menu
The Ramen Burger & Tonkotsu Ramen Set pairs Ippudo's signature tonkotsu ramen with a ramen burger — a patty sandwiched between ramen-noodle buns. The set is designed for families and fans of the Pan Dorobo (Bread Thief) picture-book series.
Ippudo also sells limited-edition Pan Dorobo goods including aprons, bowls, and stickers for adults and children, available while stocks last.
Pan Dorobo
Pan Dorobo is a best-selling Japanese picture-book series about a bread thief who searches for the world's most delicious bread. The character recently appeared in a book titled Pan Dorobo and the Wandering Ramen, connecting the bread thief to ramen culture.
The series has sold over 6.2 million copies in Japan and airs as an animated show.
Ippudo's 41st year
Ippudo opened its first shop in Fukuoka in 1985 and now runs over 200 locations worldwide. The chain is known for its Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen with thin noodles and creamy pork-bone broth.
The Pan Dorobo collaboration is the second part of Ippudo's 41st-anniversary campaign.
