Tenkaippin turns 55: its head-store beef tendon ramen goes to every shop
From 10 November 2026 to 11 January 2027, every Tenkaippin sells the beef tendon ramen normally served only at its head store.
Tenkaippin (天下一品), the Kyoto-born chain famous for its thick, chicken-based kotteri broth, turns 55 on 10 November 2026. The chain started as a single street stall in Kyoto in 1971 and has 194 shops (as of 15 October 2026, per its press release). It is marking the anniversary with a three-part campaign.
1. Beef tendon ramen at every shop
From 10 November 2026 to 11 January 2027, every Tenkaippin shop sells gyūsuji ramen (牛すじラーメン). This beef tendon bowl is normally only available at the head store (総本店). Prices start at ¥1,353 including tax and vary by shop.
2. The "kotteri lottery"
From 1 December to 11 January, each bowl of ramen earns one lottery ticket in the official Tenkaippin app, so you need the app to take part. First prize is a year of free regular-size ramen (5 winners). Second prize is a replica gold bowl (55 winners) and third prize is a free regular ramen coupon (555 winners).
3. New Year lucky bags
A ¥1,500 lucky bag holds a pack of frozen gyoza and three ¥500 coupons, each usable once per ¥1,000 spent. They sell in shops only: reservations run 1–25 December and sales 26 December – 5 January, while stocks last.
